Why a Bernese Mountain Dog?
Bernese Mountain Dogs are awesome human companions,they require to be a full member of the family. They are very gentle, calm, affectionate, and faithful to their owners. Bernese Mountain Dogs are very good with children and other animals.
They are very intelligent, but needs patient, consistent training. They are seldom nuisance barkers, but good watch dogs, but not guard dogs. They are somewhat reserved around strangers but not shy or fearful if given proper socialization when young. They require a moderate activity level, a fine walking and or hiking companion but lack the endurance of lighter boned breeds.
